Sister Karate's most renown teaching is: "Painting is the answer to Painting." In this way, the nuns have developed their orthopraxy of praying ceaselessly through making. It is through time and energy, or developing one's kung fu, that the artist may find the kingdom of heaven within. Genius, the divine power of creation, finds you when you are working. The goal is not perfection. The goal is practice. Art Nuns practice everywhere at all times, the world is their temple; be it a studio, a classroom, a dance floor, or a field. We pray for the creativity and inspiration of ourselves, all beings, and the life of our planet through our work. Art Nuns are known to be RUTHLESS. Many will sacrifice anything that gets in the way of their calling. This is how they are developing their souls on behalf of themselves and the world. The Art Nunz remind us: "Anything can be art. It depends on your level of intent. Not all effort is the highest level of intent...and therefore not all art is great. SO step it up!"
The Art Nuns have taken vows committing their life to art.... Art Nuns may be ascetics who voluntarily choose to leave mainstream society and live their life in their studio, or more entering society in order to pray for the inspiration and creativity of others. Art Nuns are known to have bad habits and renown for their spiritual promiscuity.
